EDUCATION

Dr. Enrique Reyes Rodriguez completed his degree as a Surgeon at the Villa Rica University, incorporated into the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he was recognized for academic excellence and the best GPA of his generation. He later completed the specialty of general surgery at the Médica Sur Hospital, in Mexico City, with the university endorsement granted by the Faculty of Medicine of the La Salle University. During his residency he received the recognition of chief resident for 2 years.

Dr. Enrique Reyes completed an intensive course in laparoscopic surgery at the Institut de Recherche contre les Cancers de l'Appareil Digestif (IRCAD), based in Barretos, Brazil, obtaining a certificate in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg, France. Finally, he completed his high specialty in Bariatric Surgery and a diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy at the National Medical Center 20 de Noviembre, ISSSTE, in Mexico City.

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Enrique Reyes has experience in advanced and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. With greater emphasis on bariatric or obesity surgery and metabolism. The procedures he performs most frequently are gastric surgery, gastric bypass and digestive surgeries.

Dr. Enrique Reyes has participated and given presentations at national and international conferences. He has also published 6 scientific research articles in national and international indexed journals. See posts.

Certification by the Mexican Council of General Surgery (CMCG) Member of the Mexican College of Surgery for Obesity and Metabolic Diseases (CMCOEM) He is currently a member of Obesity Health, a center accredited as "International Center of Excellence in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery" by Surgical Review Corporation
