PROGRAMACIÓN DE ASESORÍAS DURANTE EL 1ER AÑO
It is VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SCHEDULE your follow-up appointments in advance directly with your nutritionist.
PREOPERATIVE
"On your mark, set, go"
- It can be done from several months before your surgery up to even 7 days before.
VISIT TO HOSPITAL
"Meet your new stomach"
- Questions regarding your nutritional program in the following 3 stages will be answered.
PER MONTH
"Your first solid food"
A solid soft starter menu of the main allowed foods will be provided during the first month.
AT 3 MONTHS
"Learning to use equivalences"
- You will be provided with advice on how to eat with equivalences, you will learn the NOVA classification and you will be sent a guide of recommended labeled and non-labeled products.
AT 6 MONTHS
"Learning to go grocery shopping"
- In this consultation we will talk about what is in your pantry to correct your mistakes and verify that the preference for purchasing natural products has been put into practice.
AT 9 MONTHS
"How to eat in a restaurant"
- You will be given tips for going to restaurants and social gatherings: what to order, how to order, and when to order. We will also talk about dumping syndrome, advantages and disadvantages.
AT 12 MONTHS
"Certificate of Completion and Award"
- You will be given a short test on what you have learned during the follow-up year.
