EDUCATION

Dr. Violeta Madrigal completed her Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Colima (UDEC) with honors and a testimony of outstanding performance during her degree. She later completed the specialty in general surgery at UMAE 25 in Monterrey, NL, with the university endorsement granted by the University of Monterrey (UDEM). Dr. Madrigal completed a specialty in Wellness and Health Management at Corporativo Anáhuac and her High Specialty in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery at the General Hospital of Tlahuác in Mexico City with university endorsement granted by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Madrigal has experience in advanced and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, with a greater emphasis on bariatric surgery or obesity and metabolism. The procedures she most frequently performs are gastric bypass, gastric bypass and digestive surgeries.

Dr. Madrigal has participated and given presentations at national and international conferences. She has received awards for presentations of publications and scientific papers in different forums.
