EDUCATION

Dr. Ulises Mazariegos completed his medical degree in General Medicine at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). He then pursued a specialty in General Surgery at the Centro Médico Nacional Noroeste (UMAE 25) in Monterrey, NL, with university accreditation granted by the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM). Dr. Mazariegos completed his advanced specialty in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery at the Centro Médico Nacional 20 de Noviembre, ISSSTE, in Mexico City, with the endorsement of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Mazariegos has experience in advanced and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, with a greater emphasis on bariatric surgery or obesity and metabolism. The procedures he most frequently performs are gastric bypass, gastric bypass and digestive surgeries.
