EDUCATION
El Dr. Enrique Reyes Rodriguez completed his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Universidad Villa Rica, incorporated into the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he was recognized for academic excellence and the best grade point average of his generation. He later completed his specialty in general surgery at the Médica Sur Hospital in Mexico City, with the university endorsement granted by the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad la Salle. During his residency, he received recognition as chief resident for 2 years.
Dr. Enrique Reyes completed an intensive course in laparoscopic surgery at the Institut de Recherche contre les Cancers de l'Appareil Digestif (IRCAD), based in Barretos, Brazil, obtaining a certificate in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg, France. Finally, he completed his advanced specialty in Bariatric Surgery and a diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy at the National Medical Center 20 de Noviembre, ISSSTE, in Mexico City.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Enrique Reyes has experience in advanced and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, with a greater emphasis on bariatric surgery or obesity and metabolism. The procedures he performs most frequently are gastric bypass, gastric bypass and digestive surgeries.
