BENEFITS OF SHARING PART OF YOUR STORY

1. If your family or friends are aware that you have undergone a bariatric or metabolic procedure, this will create an environment of greater empathy around you, which will help you achieve your goals. We know that patients who hide their procedures from family or friends will be more resistant to change and to improving their habits.
2. Sharing your story, experiences, moments, situations or other experiences during your process before and after the procedure WILL HELP other patients who want to know more about the process. In addition, it will give more tools and security to those who have already undergone it. You will also benefit from seeing testimonies from other patients during your process.

WHAT SHOULD I SHARE?

If you have selected the regular cost program, you can share whatever you want, or even not share anything, it will depend on you. If you have selected the reduced cost program, you will be required to share part of your story as follows.

1. You will be asked to take some videos and photos before surgery. Our team will contact you with details. Photos and videos can be taken quickly and easily with your cell phone, you do not need to invest a lot of time on it.
2. The team collecting your photos and/or videos will contact you 3-5 times in the first year, then 2-3 times in the second year. You will send them some photos or short videos regarding your progress.
3. During your hospital stay or consultations, some photos or short videos may be taken.
4. Occasionally our advertising team may ask you to come to your home, workplace, or other location for an interview. Our advertising team will adapt to your time and space. See details.

• You grant permission for the video and photographic material obtained to be published on websites, social networks and media outlets, as well as permission to transmit and retransmit the content.
• Material that may be sensitive to the general public will NOT be published. For example, videos or photos with little clothing, or personal testimonies that are discussed with the obesity health team.
• If you request not to publish specific material, the request will be taken "de facto", and without further explanation, what you directly request will be carried out.
